A wire or cable must have been obsructing it. Be careful when you close up the case.......happened once to me before and it nearly fried my CPU.

@ SR-71 : Is Super Flower a good brand? Better than Seasonic or Corsair? I have a 650W Silver but I initially bought it due to price not because of quality necessarily.

Did you Twin Frozr fan spit any lubricant at any stage? Mine did but I replaced the fan with a 3rd party one before the fan could break. Apparently that particular model of Twin Frozr had a tendency to eject some lubricant if the card ran at slightly higher than normal fan speeds. ie >50% maybe

^ @Alex Kelly: You're right but it seems as if they are optimizing their fans more for silence now. I had a MSI GTX 560 before and while it wasn't that silent, it also didn't have any problems running at higher speeds.

MSI for silence and Gigabyte for a bit of silence sacrificed for performance.
