Those temps are fine. I wouldn't use prime 95 on a regular basis but you are good to go. If you ever get into overclocking give Aida 64 a shot for testing temps. I love it.

Well I would enjoy knowing the fact that I have better hardware in my system. Monitors are so cheap nowadays, get the 7870 and invest in a solid 22 inch monitor sometime down the road.

I experienced pretty much the same thing, and I'm honestly not quite sure of the fix. For about 2-3 months I got the message once every few weeks. I sometimes also had to restart my machine. That being said the problem has stopped and I haven't noticed any other issues out of the card.
