Question Someone is typing in my address and search bars

Thanks that’s what I have been thinking. However how else can I get service while I still live there? Can you have two different isps into the same house? And even if I can do this, how can I keep the new router from getting hacked? Sorry for all the questions. Like I said before I’m not a tech...

Question Someone is typing in my address and search bars

I did not think to get screenshots and haven’t turned on the devices since this happened. It’s pretty much as I described though. No one I’ve talked to has heard of something like this so I can understand the doubt. The only reason I keep replying is to see if I can get pointed in the right...

I have not used them since this started outside the house. I have another iPhone that I mainly use outside and so far it seems to be ok.

Question Someone is typing in my address and search bars

Also this was happening before with the computer which was connected by Ethernet cable and not WiFi. Could they still bypass the cable and get to the computer or does that even matter?

Question Someone is typing in my address and search bars

Thanks for your reply. How do I not let the phones or the desktop computers connect to the router? What other ways would there be to get service safely while I am living in that house?

Question Someone is typing in my address and search bars

I don’t think it’s prefill since the messages are on the personal side and suggest that they have been combing through our messages. To make things worse, it was even likely — based on the things they were saying— that they might even have been watching and listening to us through the computer...

Question Someone is typing in my address and search bars

There is a router from a Cox that belongs to another occupant of the household. Currently only that occupant has their laptop plugged in with ethernet cable to the router. When I first posted this mine and my wife’s computers were plugged in to this same router also with ethernet cables. I have...

Question Someone is typing in my phone

Someone was typing in the search bar and in the messages bar of my iPhone, as if they had remote access to my phone. I stopped using the iPhone and bought a cheap prepaid tracfone to see if the problem would go away. The same thing started happening on this phone however. How might this be...

Question Someone is typing in my address and search bars

rgd1101: the only thing I installed is Norton antivirus. I reinstalled it since I was already signed up and I have it on other devices. Punkcat: I don’t think I have activated voice to text. The messages are not things that I have said but seem as if someone is thinking of ways to provoke us to...

Question Someone is typing in my address and search bars

Thanks for replying. I bought it from a big box store so I’m assuming it’s new. It’s not on wifi but on Ethernet cable plugged into a router that is connected to the cable outlet on the wall. I did a factory reset but it didn’t help. I don’t know if that is the same as wiping out the os.
