Question Corsair TD300 Mesh ARGB Case Fan Control

Downloaded MSI Center and that let me change the LED settings on case fans as well as the annoying stripe on my gpu. All I want is the cpu pump light linked to my cpu temp. LOL. Kinda boring I guess... Thanks for your response! Cheers,

Question Corsair TD300 Mesh ARGB Case Fan Control

Hi, I recently built a new pc in the Corsair TD300 mesh case, which comes with two argb fans in the front of the case. I plugged the reset switch into the reset header on my MB, rather than using it as the argb control. I'm wondering, is there any other way to change the colors, or even turn...

    Question Rtx 3060, 3060ti, 4060, or 4060ti 8 or 16... which to choose?

I'm using a Silverstone ET750-hg, and it's new. Sorry if I didn't clearly explain. I've built a new rig, but was planning to use my year old rtx2060 in it until I could afford to upgrade that. At the moment, I'm still running the old card in my old rig because, although seemingly resolved, the...

    Question Rtx 3060, 3060ti, 4060, or 4060ti 8 or 16... which to choose?

Those do look quite nice. I've been watching some YouTube comparison videos. Sadly, with the weak yen, both of those are a bit out of my price range. I've slowly narrowed my focus on the rx7600, rtx 3060ti, or rtx4060 (not ti). All of which seem an improvement over my rtx2060. But if the...

    Question Rtx 3060, 3060ti, 4060, or 4060ti 8 or 16... which to choose?

My monitor is 1080p, but I may upgrade to 1440 in the mid future. My PSU is a SilverStone ET750. $300-400 is probably more like it, but I'm working in Japanese Yen so I could be off... I haven't really been considering AMD gpus since, oh about 5 or 6 years back when I had some black screen...

    Question Rtx 3060, 3060ti, 4060, or 4060ti 8 or 16... which to choose?

I've been reading similar questions, which seem to be asked ad nauseum, so please forgive me asking basically the same thing yet again.. I'm running a Ryzen 5 7600x with 32g memory, and am saving towards a new gpu as I've currently got my old 1660 in it. I mostly play older games like Conan...

Question Please Help: New build, frequent and various BSODs

Though I am still nervous every time I boot up or do anything, it's running fairly smoothly at the moment with the original memory, bios xmp enabled and my old gtx 1660 gpu. Next step, save up for a new gpu and hope for the best! Thanks y'all.

Question Please Help: New build, frequent and various BSODs

Sorry for the lateness of this reply. I was planning to try replacing the memory when I could afford to buy it, w2hich would be a couple weeks from now. However, after reading a bit about xmp/expo and compatible memory, I had some ideas to try out. I just put the memory in question back in...

Question Please Help: New build, frequent and various BSODs

Thanks for all your replies. Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I was planning to try replacing the memory when I can afford to, which would likely be a couple weeks from now. However... I was reading up a bit more on the xmp/expo issues and had another question. I don't see any lists...

Question Please Help: New build, frequent and various BSODs

Are the expo profiles just for overclocking? You can keep it disabled in BIOS, right?

Question Please Help: New build, frequent and various BSODs

I believe it was turned off. I left the BIOS setting as it was from first boot and think it was disabled by default. But I'll have another look and then do another round of testing.

Question Please Help: New build, frequent and various BSODs

Hmm... Should I have cleared the CMOS before testing the individual sticks as well?

Question Please Help: New build, frequent and various BSODs

Well damn. Looks like I failed in my research there. Guess I'll just shelve this rig until I can get some new memory and make sure I get the expo one. Now that I know about it, I see it everywhere... Fortunately, my old rig works just fine if I pop the old 2060 back in there. Thanks...

Question Please Help: New build, frequent and various BSODs

Update: I've tried, as per some other threads, testing the memory one stick at a time in each slot. Stick one, resulted in BSOD in either slot, on boot up. Stick 2 is currently operating for about 10 minutes now. About to run mem diagnostic... Well, still no BSOD but Memory Diagnostic still...
