by the way, i’ve tried 3 different cpu’s with the board and the same on off cycle happened with every cpu

there’s just so many things it could be 😂i have no other parts i can use to test out each problem either. my friend is the one who gave me the cpu and psu, and he’s the one who told me to buy that board for it, i’ll talk to him and see what he has to say and see if he has any parts i can use...

i probbaly should of mentioned this before, but the motherboard is currently out of the case, on a wooden desk.

i’ve actually tried taking the battery out of the motherboard, and resetting the cmos. i left the coin out all night with the jumper on the designated pins to do a deep reset. but no luck, still does the same on and off cycle. thanks for the recommendations! and yes, the gpu is out of the board

okay so right now i have 1 ram stick in, the cpu, the 24 pin connector from the psu, and the cpu cord from the psu plugged in. i also have a vga plugged into the motherboard into a monitor. how exactly would i plug into the on-board graphics? just tried running it with what you said and it does...

yes i’m running the latest drivers, i just made sure. i just downloaded msi afterburner and turned my gpu fans up from 35 (default) to 60, and i can run dayz with very minimal screen glitches, and no buzzing. it’s so confusing. it’s still there, but not nearly as bad.

okay i searched up vram and that can’t be the reason, my friend who has a worse gpu than me runs games that mine struggles to run because of the buzzing and crashing issue

the temperatures is where it gets weird to me, my cpu is around 35c when idle, and my gpu is 35-40c when idle, but when i launch a game that would cause the noise, i would go check the temperatures and they wouldn’t go up, it would just act like their idle. but since i said before that the noise...

the power supply should be fine it was tested before, i got it off a friend, but who knows.. the 780ti is used i got it off ebay but i really don’t wanna believe it’s a faulty gpu😂 the gpu requires at least a 550watt power supply and i have a 600 watt, should be plenty of power for the gpu
