Question Noise from Cooler Master MWE Gold 550W

Then it is what it is. If it really bugs you, you're gonna have to get the PSU replaced. First see if it can be done under the warranty (take it up with the store you've bought it from first, and if they refuse, then try taking it up with Coolermaster's official distributor for your country), if...

Question Noise from Cooler Master MWE Gold 550W

Are you 100% sure the noise is coming from your PSU (and not HDD?)

Question I added 2 8GB DDR4 RAM sticks (properly) and now my CPU repeatedly crashes

Kindly define "crashes" (reboots, fully powers off etc), also, provide the full models of all RAM sticks involved.

Question Cannot get past RAM led error on startup

Could be a bad RAM stick (or possibly, incompatibility with the particular board), without trying different RAM, it'd be impossible to rule it out!

    [SOLVED] Bluescreen - Memory Management

Please attach the minidump files, so I could have a more in-depth analysis, I might be able to find something you've missed out on. Apart from that, as the error itself says, there's a strong possibility that this is RAM related. I suggest you check it checked with memtest86...

    Question Ram issue (I guess?)

Generally speaking, for best compatibility, you'd wanna get a stick that has the exact same timings and voltage as the current! If you buy one that has different timings, voltage (or both) then it's likely not gonna work perfectly right out of the box (and would require fiddling with the...

[SOLVED] Is my new PSU good enough?

    1. Watts in a PSU isn't a universal concept, what really matters is the brand and the ampere rating (which can vary, even with PSUs of the same wattage). As for that PSU in particular, I wouldn't trust it! It's a generic cheapo (which can potentially fry your components at a later time!) Better...

Question new build the pc fans kick and then nothing else happens

You really should've done your homework before purchasing the motherboard! Verifying the socket is compatible with the CPU isn't enough, you have to also verify the motherboard supports the particular CPU! And in this case, it simply doesn't...

Question PC stuck in bootloop before POST

I'd say you'd be best NOT using that PSU with the new board. Why take unnecessary risks?

Question PC stuck in bootloop before POST

I see. Then I'd say it's most likely a bad PSU.

Question Thermal paste on my motherboard

Unless you've spilled an excessive amount (over a very large area) dipping some q-tips in alcohol would definitely suffice. It's not rocket science!

Question PC stuck in bootloop before POST

Honestly, the details are quite vague on this one! What exactly happens after you press the power button? Keep it simple and detailed.

Question Thermal paste on my motherboard

A few Q-Tips, just open the cap and pour a bit into it, dip em, and clean.

    Question Cpu not working

I'd say you should try a different one regardless (just because it's working, it doesn't mean it's in good condition) Also, I have to admit that I've initially missed out on the CPU fan not working (when I've watched the video), and that definitely makes it more likely that this is a power...

    Question Cpu not working

That's not necessarily the case. Modern PSUs generally require a load in order to even turn on, so testing a PSU with the paperclip method (with nothing connected to it) may provide misleading results. it needs at least a case fan or two.
