I installed windows 10 once and it also stopped, I'm not sure what the issue is but I know how to fix it- uninstall windows 10 and go back to windows 7. Sorry for being no help. Gl

When I set my fans to auto it just goes to 20% and I was to scared to run it more than 60% but I'll make sure to run it at at least 80% and I read some forums which said this card should not exceed the temp of 90c

Hi, I got a amd r9 290 with dual monitors, fan speed at 50% or 60%, memory clock at 5000mhz and gpu clock at 975mhz (don't know what the last two do tbh) and the idle temperature is around 60c and when I'm gaming with my case OPEN and an external fan (my case won't fit more than 7 fans)...

Nevermind I got it to work, all I had to do is re-install the drivers but custom and not installing the catalyst control center/or whatever it is(the ccc) and its been working fine for me past day and with a passive adapter :D
