I used Macrium Reflect. It worked fine. I just switched the boot module, removed HDD to test SSD booting (it worked), then I wiped the HDD. I think everything is fine too, wish me luck from here on out!

Well if you have the same issue I had, where the SSD would not want to become the boot drive, have fun with diskpart and bcdboot commands.

Also whatever mod just combined my two threads, what the heck. These are separate issues. Booting issues and issues in regards to the SSD being migrated. Not sure who's idea it was to combine the two... The booting issue is solved... What the heck...

Update: I just did update the BIOS for this laptop (which was listed as a critical notice), but it didn't change anything. I did go back into the BIOS to make sure that the SSD was listed first in the Boot priority. Update: fixed it. Follow this article for more details...
