    I used Macrium Reflect. It worked fine. I just switched the boot module, removed HDD to test SSD booting (it worked), then I wiped the HDD. I think everything is fine too, wish me luck from here on out!

    Well if you have the same issue I had, where the SSD would not want to become the boot drive, have fun with diskpart and bcdboot commands.

    Macrium Reflect. I have tested removing the HDD and booting with just the SSD, and it worked fine. I'd also imagine it must be fine since I completely wiped the HDD and all its partitions. It says the device is healthy. Also keep in mind this message appeared the moment the drive was installed...

    Update: I just did update the BIOS for this laptop (which was listed as a critical notice), but it didn't change anything. I did go back into the BIOS to make sure that the SSD was listed first in the Boot priority. Update: fixed it. Follow this article for more details...
