Question Sudden Unexpected Store Exception BSOD when booting up PC from sleep mode

Update, it happened again. I have managed to provide screenshots of what happens when the computer restarts. I just tried @Misgar's suggestion and will follow up later on. Also, I've checked the event viewer and found that there is an error involving a minidump file not being created. I'll post...

Question Sudden Unexpected Store Exception BSOD when booting up PC from sleep mode

I'll toggle XMP mode off the next time I boot up my computer, but for now I'll put it as one of the possible causes for my issues. Have you checked the .dmp file? I think that will offer us more insights to the issue

Question Sudden Unexpected Store Exception BSOD when booting up PC from sleep mode

It's been a while since I posted here, but recently I've noticed that my PC has been suddenly generating an Unexpected Store Exception BSOD. This started on the 19th and it's been happening on and off. Yesterday I didn't get any BSOD but it happened again when I booted up the computer from sleep...

Question Getting constant DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE BSOD on MSI GP66 laptop

@Colif I don't know why the dmp file said it was a different PC 😅. Maybe I might've accidentally provided the wrong dmp file the first time was due to me downloading a dmp file on Reddit that had a similar BSOD than mine. If that was the case then my apologies! But yes, the 2nd dmp file is...

Question Getting constant DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE BSOD on MSI GP66 laptop

@Colif Same, I don't even know where to go with this. My best bet right now is to back up all of my work files and just preform a factory reset to how it was when I received the laptop. I'm not to concerned about my steam games as that's all stored on the cloud but I'll just have to redownload...

Question Getting constant DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE BSOD on MSI GP66 laptop

@Colif Google Drive says the wrong date as it actually is the most recent file from yesterday/ The 25th. I am not entirely sure if it's my USB device. The only USB devices I use are my G502, my Razer Huntsman Mini and a portable charger I use to charge my phone. But other than that, I've gone...

Question RGB Lights on mobo stopped working following case swap (Unable to change the RAM RGB lights after tinkering with it in msi center) ?

You know the RGB LED switch on the mobo: I have to constantly flip this switch just to enable the RGB lights again. And yes, I am on the latest bios. My PSU is fine. There are no issues with that. I might try a CMOS reset and see if that resolves the issue. Otherwise I might just have to RMA...

[SOLVED] Got myself into a sticky situation... Metal part of USB is stuck inside USB port. Any ideas on how I can get this out?

Just to update you guys. I managed to get the piece of metal out of the USB port! Took some time but I was able to piece the USB back together. Everything still works! I had to use those small pliers that had the small teeth in them to manage to pull it free! Thanks for the help everyone.

[SOLVED] Z490 Gaming Carbon Wifi not picking up Ethernet cable

Just tried pushing in the cable harder lmao. I did look into USB to LAN adapters which I might try out. I'll see if I can purchase one but, either way, some parts of my mobo might be dead at this point. Might need to contact MSI and see what they say.
