    PC Case with a Thunderbolt port

    The Thunderbolt port is soldered to the back edge of the motherboard, it is not a function of the case to "port" it out. Your motherboard does not have an internal I/O that will allow you to carry the Thunderbolt signals to the front of the case. Virtually any case made for your motherboard's...

    Which USB 3.0 Flash Drive?

    Perhaps this -> http://www.amazon.co.uk/Transcend-JetFlash-Super-Frustration-Free-Packaging/dp/B007ACYRM8/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1379175816&sr=8-3&keywords=Transcend+JetFlash+780

    Ram Compatiblity Question

    Your link to NCIX didn't work for me. From the info culled from the URL, you're considering a G.SKILL F3-12800CL10D-16GBXL Ripjaws X 16GB 2X8GB Kit. This will work fine for your motherboard according to G.SKILL's website -> http://www.gskill.com/en/configurator?manu=29&chip=1307&model=1407 As...

    Case fans 3 pin, Motherboard 4 pin

    Hey! Your motherboard has five 4-pin fan connectors. Two of them are for the CPU and three are for the case fans. 4-pin connectors offer the ability to control fan speed via pulse width modulation (PWM). Since your case fans are only 3-pin, you will not have the ability to control the case...

    Can someone help with Xeon motherboard - power supply compatibility issue??

    Snide comments aside, you failed to mention earlier that the EchoStar PSU worked fine in a separate system leaving everyone to only guess that the $25 PSU was the issue. 1. Have you tried any other PSU with the Intel based motherboard in question? 2. What additional peripherals does the Intel...

    Any compatibility issue

    Sorry for the FUBAR above, what I had typed and was left out of the previous post is that PCPartPicker warns that using any Ivy Bridge CPU (I3-3210) in a Gigabyte GA-H61M motherboard may require a BIOS update before the CPU will work. This means you may need a different, compatible CPU just to...

    Computer won't boot after installing a new ram?

    For your motherboard, the only 4GB DIMM supported (as listed by Gigabyte) is the 4GB Samsung M378B5273BH1-CF8. Having said that, there is really no reason that the 4GB DIMM you purchased shouldn't work. I would consider returning the 4GB dimm to the retailer as DOA (dead on arrival).

    Part of a drive as Raid 1, is this possible?

    Good reading for you -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RAID#RAID_1 RAID 1 is strictly a redundancy scheme, not a backup scheme. There is a huge difference. For instance, if your OS or controller starts writing bad data to the primary drive and destroys it in the process, that same bad data will...

    Help with wattage

    How is AMD's TDP spec of 100W not real world? Are you saying the product manufacturers don't know what their power consumption is? Please provide the link to the "realhardtech" suggestion instead of just expecting everyone to take your word for it. You most assuredly did infer that 300W was...

    Help with wattage

    So, your point is, "Yes, I'm argumentative". You see, you didn't bother with any "real world lab tests" until someone (me) bothered to show the OP why a 300W PSU is insufficient. You simply stated that "I wouldn't recommend as low as 300w, and do suggest you consider 400-450w", period. No...
