Question Best Xeon for Workstation Use and Light Gaming?

I think your sweet spot might be a dual 1366 socket system. I run one with dual x5675 xeons (6 cores/12 threads each, at 3.07GHz) on a supermicro x8dth-i motherboard. It was originally put together for a proof of concept for a virtualisation server to power some of the 3d workflow at my...

    Streaming from second pc

As far as hardware goes any mid to high range i7 from the last 5 or so years will suit your needs. You don't need a strong GPU just enough to handle the scene rendering. You should get by with the iGPU on the CPU. RAM... 8GB is fine.

However both will still put some load on the CPU of your gaming PC due to the need to encode the stream before sending it across your network to your streaming PC. That said the load is reduced as you...

    Compressing stream from native display

I game at 1440p and have streamed at both 720p and 900p, both look fine to me depending on other encoding settings. Record a few bits of gameplay and have a play with your bitrate and find what looks best to you and works for your hardware/upload speed.

High SPEC pc struggling to stream any game??

Hmmm, that is strange. You should be seeing much better performance with that CPU and GPU pairing IMO. What about windows power settings...?https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/use-maximum-cpu-power-windows-10

High SPEC pc struggling to stream any game??

Change your encoding from slow to fast/veryfast. Slow encoding is too much for your CPU while gaming.

Rocket League, weird wave / vertical line

From what you said in your original post it sounds like you are capping your FPS at 250, is this correct? If so, have you tried capping at 240FPS instead since your screen is 240Hz?
