Benchmarks came out for the 290x, priced at around 550 usd this is a great price/performance ratio. The only real drawbacks are the power consumption and heat. 95 degrees is pretty high even for a reference card. I would wait for the 290 benchmarks and see how Nvidia responds to AMD's new cards...
