I'm not sure if I follow everything I find online says using active speakers with amps are no no right now my active power speakers are connected to my motherboards onboard audio if I was to buy a DAC amp combo could I use those active speakers or do I need passive speakers

I have a Asus crosshair formula v mother board running Windows ten. I can't find and chipset, audio, or and mb installation software besides the bios. Please help oh and other windows version drivers don't install

There is no error to report. I'm running mem test now. Then I will down clock my ram. My mb and ram can run higher mhz then my cpu can handle. I'm hoping that's it. Also there is no over heating issues
