Should I overclock my CPU if it already reaches 79c temp when in full load?

Thank you Adam. I will see what I can do to increase fans' rpm and get back to you. Is it possible that's just the particular processor that overheats and this wouldn't happen with an Intel for instance? Not that I will upgrade. Just curious.

Should I overclock my CPU if it already reaches 79c temp when in full load?

I reinstalled the heatsink and removed the thermal paste (which was too much) and applied less this time. It didn't do the trick. The temperature at full load is 79 degrees. I am out of ideas as it seems. Any suggestions? :/

I tried it and the cores reached -7,6 margin temperature in full load. Not sure what that is. I tried to find what this margin temp is but no luck.

Dunlop0078 I use Core Temp. Could it be inaccurate? P.S. Sorry, I don't know how to quote someone's post. :/

Should I overclock my CPU if it already reaches 79c temp when in full load?

Thank you for your answers. I will try to reinstall the heatsink, because it looks odd to me too that it doesn't cool the CPU efficiently. I applied enough thermal paste when I got the cooler a few days ago. I think some of it came out of the CPU a little, so I surely applied more than enough...

Should I overclock my CPU if it already reaches 79c temp when in full load?

I have an AMD FX-8350 and I cool it with the Cryorig H7 which I got recently. I used PRIME95 to test it and Core Temp to see how hot it can get. It seems it doesn't get hotter than 79 degrees. I think that's the limit and above 80 degrees it gets dangerous, right? My first question is, do you...

I have stuttering when playing videos and games. Is my HDD useless?

After a small search on the web I found out that I must have an HDD problem. Because I use that PC for a very long time and nothing similar has happened before. I tried to run Skyrim and was getting stuttering all over the place. Mind you, not micro-stuttering. And the thing is the fps is at 60...

Unable to see anything on my monitor.

Hahaha.. yeah. The problem is that I had begun to build the PC one year ago, so I didn't remember what I had plugged. Hehe.. I solved the problem by removing the drive (it's brand new actually). Then I could get in the BIOS. Not sure why this worked!? Maybe it was trying to boot from the empty...

I removed the drive and worked. But when I try to install Win7 it cannot see the HDD for some reason to install it in.

Unable to see anything on my monitor.

I apologize for wasting your time. I'm ashamed to say this but here we go; the problem was that I didn't connect the PSU 8-pin cable to the motherboard beside CPU. I don't know how I missed that! I am really sorry. Now it starts properly but shows an error; "Reboot and Select proper Boot device"...

I did not buy the buzzer thing yet, because I realized that there is a high possibility for it to be the RAM. Can a PC start without RAM though? And what about the fact that I cannot shut it down normally??

P.S. I will buy one speaker and see what happens.
