I'm having some issues with a p300 that are the same. The instructions aren't as good as they could be and its impossible to find some. I cant get sound

Thanks. I just realised theyre just supposed to be lweft alone as they separate the connectors.

I have installed the I/O plate and there are things that appear to be latches that are sticking out. Do i just push them back. Or do I leave them and push them back when I plug in a device or lead?

It doesn't but its no big deal. I have come round to the idea that optical drives are no longer required. An external will do the job I need it to do.

I'm buying now. I've already got the ram, processor, and motherboard. thought it was the case id ordered but checked and it was the ram. I'm reluctant to go outside of the suggested build so I will just buy an external DVD/RW as I wont require it all the time. I'm committed now.

I think I will forgo the DVD drive as I would prefer to stick to the build without starting to tinker. I can get a USB one that I can use whenever required.

Ordered the processor, motherboard, and cooler. I'll get the rest over then next 2 weks. Delighted with the help.

Thanks for that. OK. If I can still add a graphics card at a later stage to the 2400G cant I? Can I upgrade the CPU easily enough at a later stage from your suggestion?

Would it be woth going up to the 2600X processor or the 1600X. I don't mind spending a little more as I can always buy the parts over a few weeks.
