It worked on a lot of resolutions with the Nvidia GTX 750 ti I was borrowing with HDMI, and my new GPU doesn't have VGA, so I'll try 1366 x 760 and hope that works, though I am certain it has something to do with drivers.

Yeah, so this didn't work and I've been borrowing monitors for a while, but it really has something to do with the drivers. Unless someone has something I'll just save up until I can get something from Value Village or Goodwill.

I fixed it! Thanks for the suggestions but it turns out the monitor was the problem, it's actually a small tv so there must have been some driver conflict, any suggestions to fix that would be appreciated as this is the only monitor I currently own. It's a Sharp lc-26dv24u.

Well I tried that and it didn't work so I reinstalled my OS, which usually fixes my PC problems and that didn't work either. I'm pretty lost and I'd rather punch a nun than go through another RMA. Please save me from excommunication.

Okay, so I think the problem is that I had an older version of Windows 10 which was conflicting with Covenant Eyes. It said it couldn't download the Windows 10 update. Also, my PC seems to work fine in the evening, but not around noon. Weird.
