I recently bought the Alienware m15 r6 but it only comes with 8GB RAM ddr4 2933MHz (not sure if 1x8GB or 2x4GB). I want to upgrade to 16GB RAM but I am not sure which type it would support, does it have to be ddr4 2933MHz or can it be different. I don't have much experience building PCs...
