    Upgrade of current PC

That's a first-gen core series. We're currently Gen 6. (Though Gen 4 is still widely used). Like AM3, LGA1156 is outdated. Even the cheapest Gen4 i5 would be way faster and the LGA1150 socket would allow for future upgrades. TLDR: No.

KFA2 GTX980ti HOF - Black screen while gaming and Heaven Benchmark.

Of course the upgrade could've screwed it up. It's Windows. EVERYTHING is possible in Windows. I'd just see that friend of yours, test your gpu and draw your conclusion based on your new observations

PC Game Editing Software that supports 1080p/60fps?

VideoPad is free I believe and easy to use. If you really want to go pro (no pun intended) BlackMagic Resolve is also (surprisingly) free. Sony Movie Studio Platinum works great but costs $$

    Iphone Multitasking problem

The IPhone 4s is old and getting slow. If you think the app is the culprit you can reset to factory defaults which should wipe all changes made to the OS.

    Can't enter BIOS setup anymore?

Try disconnecting all peripherals, my bios freaks out sometimes and behaves normally again after I pull out all of my USB devices.

    cpu is hot

    - What CPU? What cooler? We need some specs! - Did you just build your PC or has it been running fine before? - How do you monitor your temps? Give me some info to work with and I'd be glad to help :)

    Upgrade of current PC

You don't want to change your motherboard, but there's little point in swapping your CPU for another AM3 CPU: the performance difference would not be worth it. If you're dead set on it the best thing you could do is get a Phenom II X6 and overclock it but imo it's not worthwile and you should...

Artifacting @ stock and below speeds!? (AMD R9 270) Please help...

I've watched your video a couple of times now and can't see any artefacts. I think what you mean is screen tearing (google if you're not sure what it is),this would be fixed by turning on Vsync as long as you can maintain constant 60fps. Maybe you could elaborate more on what you're...

gpu not detected by motherboard in bios

A few things to try: - Are your PCI-e cables connected correctly? - Did you hear a 'click' when you seated your GPU? - Is your monitor connected to the GPU? - Read your motherboard's manual: sometimes you need to use a certain PCI-e slot for your main graphics card Also what motherboard do you...

    390x or 980?

Future proofing is a myth. Equally performing cards will be obsolete at around the same time. You should just choose the card that has better performance in the majority of the games you (intend to) play, or if you really prefer a brand pick the one from your favorite. Since the GTX 980 is a...

    i5 2500 compatible with Kingstone HyperX Fury 16GB 1866?

It would probably work, but no guarantees. Usually faster memory is downclocked to the highest supported clock speeds. I think what will happen is that the memory clock will drop down to 1333mhz (what your CPU supports by default), then in your BIOS you should be able to apply a 1600mhz XMP...

    Am I running 4.4Ghz @ 1.280V or 1.376V ?

VID = Stock (factory) VCore 'stamped' on the CPU so a motherboard knows what voltage to apply by default. VCore = actual applied voltage When setting CPU voltage we're talking about VCore. This is the best explanation I've seen thus far:

Artifacting @ stock and below speeds!? (AMD R9 270) Please help...

What are your GPU's temperatures? High temperatures can cause artefacts (This reddit post explains it quite well). Also, did you experience artefacting from the beginning or only after your overclocking attempts?
