A total uninstall of the drivers, including stuff in the registry and a reinstall fixed my issue.

As the thread title indicates, my computer does not recognize ethernet on startup. Reinstalling drivers fixes it temporarily until the next time I turn off my pc. If I restart my PC, the drivers still work. Furthermore, I'm getting random disconnects, mainly when I'm playing online games like...

Just an update for those who may stumble across this. I replaced the motherboard with another one, and everything now works. Unsure if the socket was the problem, but the pins weren't bent. Faulty one is being sent back.

I did alternate between the CPU1 and CPU2 connectors on the PSU but to no avail, as well as trying a spare non-modular PSU but with the same problem occurring. I did take a further look at the socket, but I still can't see anything noticeable. Here's a picture: View: https://imgur.com/a/XpZDjCu

Just tried a spare PSU I had, same issue is occurring.

Whoops, I thought I did. EVGA SuperNOVA 850 GA. I just tried booting outside of the case, same problem. I have a spare PSU to test this with, so I'm going to try that.

I'll give that a try. Just to clarify though, I noticed that it's whenever the ATX 12v is connected is when the problem occurs.

There isn't any bent pins on the cpu socket from what I can tell, and I ensured that the cooler was installed with the screws designated for the LGA 1200 socket type, and I read the manual as well.
