Question Cloning OS NVME with Macrium Reflect

I mistakenly booted before removing. However, when I switched the drives and removed the old drive completely, the new drive boots just fine.

Question Easiest way to transfer Windows 11 License to new PC/NVMe SSD ?

Everything is working great. Removed the original, kept the new in the main M2 slot. So far I've played a bunch of games, restarted, shut down, and booted 20+ times (while trying to fix Icue) and no issues. Thanks again for all of your help, I appreciate the time you took

Question Easiest way to transfer Windows 11 License to new PC/NVMe SSD ?

Yeah, I wasn't blaming you or anything. I read all of the guide before I started earlier today, but when the clone finished I totally forgot that last step. I should have taken my time and referred back to the guide. For some reason I figured changing the boot order would be fine in my head...

Question Easiest way to transfer Windows 11 License to new PC/NVMe SSD ?

Welp, I saw this after, and I went into my BIOS and just changed the boot order. The drive is working totally fine as far as I can tell, but I wish I saw your post first 🤦‍♂️ IDK what issues I could have just caused. I'll take out the original drive now and see what happens. (And switch the...

Question Easiest way to transfer Windows 11 License to new PC/NVMe SSD ?

Ahh, so my guess is that it only resized the C as intended, and the others are the "At least 1 partition....etc" that didn't get resized. Everything looked normal as far as the menu goes. It's already almost finished. Incredible to have copied 500gb that quickly.....

Question Easiest way to transfer Windows 11 License to new PC/NVMe SSD ?

Great. Thanks again. I am about to clone, I selected copy partitions and then also to "Shrink or extend" them to for the bigger drive. I have one alert. At least 1 partition couldn't be resized. (Is that a concern?)

Question Easiest way to transfer Windows 11 License to new PC/NVMe SSD ?

Thank you, I will turn them off just in case they do anything negative. Simplicity is sometimes the best way. Intelligent it is. Thanks again, I appreciate it. Happy I don't have to install everything all over just to upgrade.

Question Cloning OS NVME with Macrium Reflect

Hello, I am going to be cloning my OS NVME to a bigger NVME. I just had a few questions on how to use Macrium Reflect? 1-When installing it asks to install -CBT -Image Guardian for ransomware Should I ignore these? Or include them in the install? 2-When cloning, there is a forensic or...

Question Red QLed after changing RAM and CPU

Okay, old RAM is back in. First it wouldn't post, just hung on an amber light. Restarted the PC, and then it was able to post. Checked in BIOS and Windows it was running at 5200mhz as intended in the XMP. Now it boots in about 1-2 seconds, I still see the red light turn on, but it goes away...

Question Red QLed after changing RAM and CPU

Okay, BIOS is updated, and it's still doing it but it's faster. Red light turns on for a second, and it takes maybe 3 seconds now and the PC boots. I still need to check Fast Boot. But I didn't touch this setting and it didn't do this with my last RAM. So that's weird.

Question Red QLed after changing RAM and CPU

I'm going to update my BIOS and check fast boot now. I still have the same BIOS from 2 years ago, might be worth just staying up to date there anyway. Hoping I don't introduce any new issues......hehe........

Question Red QLed after changing RAM and CPU

It's not 6400, I was mistaken, it's actually 6000mhz. But it is showing up as 6000mhz in windows 11 task manager. So it seems to be the correct speed. And shows up as 6000 in the BIOS as well.

Question Red QLed after changing RAM and CPU

It says it's running at that speed in the BIOS, with the XMP 1 enabled. I haven't checked in windows yet. Is there a way to fix it to stop it from training each time? Or a reason of why that would happen? I'm gonna test if it does it with the old RAM sticks if I switch them back.
