Resolved.....just created my own little 'caddy' which sloted into a USB port and backed up the data :)

Hey, great forum, been a great help. I've got a physically damaged USB drive which has a UDP chip in it. Is there anyway I can get the data from it using a reader of some sort? It's not mega important data but I'd like to recover it if possible. The chip itself is intact. Thanks!
