Can't set anything until I get into the setup/bios. a 3.0 card in a 4.0 shouldn't be an issue according to what I have read and the fact they are backwards compatable. I'd be a bit more worried if it was a 4.0 card going in a 3.0 slot but even that is reportedly not a problem either.

I believe those are just the USB hubs. Didn't investigate that yet to be honest. Nothing outside the standard equipment installed.
