Msi mode isn't something you install. It came automatically with windows it's a system file. You have to find IDE/ATA drivers linked with “StorAHCI.sys” and go into Regedit and change the Dword file from 1 to 0. More details below...

Thanks for the advice. I turned off the defrag background scan thing after I took the photo didnt make any difference. I'm probably just going to get an ssd for windows

Used a windows boot drive from usb and bought a key for windows 10 pro

Ahh. I've literally just installed it too. The same issue also applied previously before this HDD on a previous install of windows

Sorry let met correct myself, it's not constantly stuck at 100% but frequently goes up to 100% and stick there for a while.

Hi guys. Previous HDD was maxxing out at 100%. Bought a new one to try and resolve it, installed windows 10 and now new HDD running at 100% again. I will try and provide any information you ask for
