Reading this brought me some very fond memories of my grandfather. He was an instruction manual nut and would always stop me when we had purchased some new gizmo and say "read the directions!" and I would get great pleasure from ninja assembling it while he was busy reading. Lol

My gut feeling (which is worth about as much as the contents of my guts) is that an 880 will be released this year with 28nm but those of us in the budget range of 870s or 860s will be waiting till 2015.

K I'm pretty much a super noob with bios settings. Where do I update the bios from if I haven't put the drive in yet? I'm not using that 1600 ram anymore, though if there's a way to get it to work with the 1333 I might keep it. Ill try the safe mode boot but will wait to hear back about...
