Thanks for that. So it can be assumed that it needs a replacement PSU. The replacement doesn’t look hard. Is this a usual problem with this model? Would it more likely be the power supply over the logic board? Looks like the power cable connects to the logic board itself.

Where is the HDD power cable connected to? Is it to the iMac PSU or the logic board? If it is the logic board that means the board itself if faulty yes? Also where can you get the HDD power cable from?
