I will give this a try, an easy fix for it is just to remove the plate off the vrm but unfortunately it takes away from the look as it is rgb lighted. Would water cooling affect this?

What i can do is try a couple different setup variations to find my optimal airflow while simultaneously keeping the Mobo cooled. Without direct airflow to the board it can hit upwards of 108° c
