    Please check my new build

Ok, slight change of topic. I can't decide what GPU to get, as Battlefield 3 seems to be vram intensive. Budget is between €205 - €220 on www.hoh.de or www.e-bug.at or www.amazon.at So far a GTX260ti OC with 1GB vram is what I'm looking at getting. But there are 2GB versions within my budget...

    Please check my new build

Thanks again for the all replies - very informative and much appreciated. Sadly they will only deliver that inside Germany, not to me in Austria. Also, it is being sold at half the price it should be, by a new seller with only 1 review. Seems like something must be wrong with it - it's too good...

Would this system Bottleneck a GTX560ti or 570

Thanks for the help everyone. I think I will be getting a new motherboard, and a Core i5 2500K anyway, as with current games, and Photoshop, Illustrator etc. and loads of Web windows open, my CPU gets hot and noisy. And I play Shogun 2 Total War, which is such a beast of a game that I need all...

Thanks for your reply Silvune, very helpful. That Lepa is a bargain. Why would you change my PSU to that? Because of the price? Or price and quality/features? Although I must admit, I've heard never heard of Lepa. Don't know how in all my years I've never heard of Lepa. I take it they're good...

Would this system Bottleneck a GTX560ti or 570

It's been running fine for about 18months, so it shouldn't start acting erratically all of a sudden. Max temp is 95c for this CPU. Intel would probably say there's nothing wrong as long it doesn't reach 95c.

Would this system Bottleneck a GTX560ti or 570

I have the stock cooler and am not interested in cleaning the CPU and getting a customer cooler and the hassle involved. It has erratic temperatures. Hits about 80c-85c - sometimes when only multi-tasking on the Internet, not even when gaming. And when gaming, it won't get hotter than that...

Would this system Bottleneck a GTX560ti or 570

Thanks for your answer. I won't be overclocking anything, the CPU runs hot enough as it is.

Would this system Bottleneck a GTX560ti or 570

Hi, Will the PC that I currently have, would it bottleneck a GTX560ti or GTX570? I'm thinking the answer is a capital YES, but just want to make sure! Thanks! :) Core 2 Quad Q9950 2.83GHz (2x2GB) 4GB G.Skill DDR2 RAM, DRAM Fequency of 400MHz (as reported by CPU-Z) GTX260 (version with 216...

1:1 FSB : Ram ratio. Is it necessary for Q9550?

Vertigon said: "Some people like to opt for it because the higher end DDR2 modules eg. corsiar dominator can cost as much or more than DDR3, so it makes sense to opt for the higher bandwidth and run 1:1. If your not going to overclock and getting 2GB or more then go for it." You'll have to...

1:1 FSB : Ram ratio. Is it necessary for Q9550?

So...is there any problem with running RAM at 2:1 ratio rather than 1:1. Any instability or anything? I know that everyone says 1:1 is the ideal, so there must be some reason for saying that? But, if it really makes little difference, then I'm fine with that! :) And will you please stop...

1:1 FSB : Ram ratio. Is it necessary for Q9550?

I won't actually have to adjust the speed down to get 1:1 ration will I? The computer should do that automatically to make it 1:1, I thought... I think the RAM I currently have is faster than my CPU's FSB, but when I look in CPU-Z program it shows the ratio is 1:1 and the RAM running at a lower...

1:1 FSB : Ram ratio. Is it necessary for Q9550?

Hi everyone, I've tried reading through this topic to understand it but I don't. So can I have a simple answer to this simply phrased (if nothing else) question: I want to buy a Q9550. I am not interested in overclocking. What speed DDR2 RAM do I need to match the processor? Q9550 has FSB of...
