    Lines on screen at boot

To preface this, let me first say that I have a 1000W PSU but I'm missing a lot of the cords for it as it's modular and the last owner lost them. I've been concerned for some time that my GPU may not be getting enough juice as it shares a split molex with the HDD but it's always seemed to work...

Suddenly Getting No Picture, Possible Overheat?

The night before last my PC was working fine, I laid down to watch a movie and fell asleep, I woke up a couple of hours later to the fans spinning louder than normal and no picture on the screen and noticed I had knocked a pillow off of my bed and it had landed upright in front of the computer...

Radeon HD 7790 fails to boot, no display at all

Alright so my BIOS is a bit out of date, Version 1903, the latest non-beta is Version 2205, or should I spring for the latest update that is still in beta, Beta Version 5002?

Radeon HD 7790 fails to boot, no display at all

I don't have the cable to fit the other port, its a DVI-D (Dual Link). The card has a display port (I don't have a cable for that), an HDMI port (tried it, no result), an DVI-D Dual Link (no cable for this one) and a DVI-I Dual link (used the VGA adapter for this one, no result)

Radeon HD 7790 fails to boot, no display at all

Oh thats my mistake, mine came with an adapter that adapts the DVI-I (Dual Link) to a VGA, the male side of the adapter is DVI-A but the female plug on the GPU is DVI-I (Dual Link) So yeah I have tried using the only port that allows the adapter to adapt it to a VGA cable with no results. This...

Radeon HD 7790 fails to boot, no display at all

Radeon HD 7790 fails to boot, no display at all

[FIXED] Alright so I fixed this issue, I don't really know why it fixed it but I just decided on a whim to plug the GPU into my secondary PCI-e slot, not my primary, well it booted right up just fine. So yeah, I put it in the black slot rather than the blue one and it works, I don't know why and...
