I got a VGA to DVI adapter, but because i was on a budget for my pc i bought a motherboard with only a HDMI port! so i need to connect my VGA plug to hdmi port, is it possible to use VGA to DVI adapter and on top of that a DVI to HDMI adapter?

Don't think so because when i pull the DVI cable out my screen just works properly giving a black screen with medion on it as text and a warning that the screen is not connected!
