When I start up CS:GO, my internet connection completely dies. First, steam disconnects, then other programs such as Discord die. If I tab out, let alone close CS:GO everything instantly gets fixed. Wasted a good 2 hours trying to fix it with no result.

This is an issue i've not been able to fix whatsoever. I've tried everything in the Radeon settings, i've tried setting my monitor's resolution to 1280x960 and the monitor shows the black bars, but CS:GO is still stretched. Does it have to do anything with my drivers or anything?

My GPU has only one HDMI slot and my mobo has only one as well. I don't want to buy a DVI-D cable because i can't find one in my country. All advice is appreciated. Motherboard: Z170A Gaming M3, GPU is R9 290 Double Dissipation edition.
