Ive heard the 402 has some kind of sniper button, that lowers the dpi for more careful movements while peering down a scope? Can I manage something like that with the 400S?

Try and update your BIOS, but be sure to hook the system up to a very good UPS system. If the power fails mid way through a BIOS update, it will leave you in some very murky water. Good luck
