Have a look through the BIOS, most have the option to change the speed of fans connected directly to the board. If it is changeable, then speed the fan up a little. This wont make a huge difference, but will be OK until you upgrade.

If this was my PC I would be looking at upgrading the CPU first as if you plan to game, a quad core will certainly be better than a dual core.

Thanks for your replies. Sadly, I think a GTX 1070/1080 may be a little too much (As in cost). Would a MSI AMD RX 480 8GB be similar, as from what I've heard they have slightly lower, but very similar performance?
