Additional information: Wlan Autoconfig does not appear in my running services, furthermore i cant locate it in Msconfig startup options. I can however find wlansvc.dll in system32 folder, i believe the fact this service isnt running is my issue. Any takers on how to fix that ? Currently...

No, im not given the option to see any wireless networks in my area. The positioning of both devices isnt an issue, when the first adapter broke i got 4 bars and the reception in my new place is full on my phones wireless.
