Apologies for the confusion, the 2 older solid state drives are the ones currently in my PC that I just re added. I have the USB external hard disk drive too. All three of these drives was present in the old PC build, and this current one. Storage was not changed in the upgrade at all.

Ah I see, well I just added my old ones into this one, I didn't change anything. There was 2 of the flat sticks I added to the motherboard, so i assume it was 2 physical drives, and the E drive is the USB external. My C Drive is 500 GB, D Drive is 1TB and E drive is 2TB.

Hey, my drives, windows and stuff are up to date, even checked again with the AMD Adrenaline application. would the reason be because of the USB external drive, even though it worked perfectly before the upgrade?

I have a C, D & E drive on the PC. My game and clipping software are on the C:, the clip storage is set to my External HDD (E:) because it's 2TB, the same as it was before. I don't know if that answers your question though

Yeah, it's called Insights Capture, it's just a clipping software like Medal, OBS and the other ones. No matter the settings I use for it, it just stutters in the clips and they're not exactly smooth.

Sorry, so when I play FPS games, I use clipping software to clip highlights from my gameplay alongside it. But the clips are no longer smooth anymore no matter what settings I use for it, so can only think the issue could be the CPU / GPU.

I've made the change, and it seems to not be as hot when I tried a game for a little, but will have to test it more when I have time over a longer duration as I normally would play, and see how it affects the clipping too, if at all.
