I can run doom at 60 fps just fine but my cpu gets to abt 80 degreeds c and even when i turn all the graphics options to low it still runs very hot and i don want to fry my cpu, so i think that if i can somehow lock it at 30 fps it will run much cooler plz help (laptop btw)

i want to run games like doom, gta 5, project cars, overwach, farcry primal and fallowt 4 on medium to high specs wich would be better the i3 7100, the gtx 8300 or any other cpu for under 160$ to run these games with a gtx 1050 ti
