How would I go about formatting or wiping out my old HDD to use as extra storage for my current laptop. Are there any risk to putting an old HDD on my new laptop?

Yes I have check all those i am currently transferring the Drivers from the CD it came with to a USB because I was trying to use the online version so let's see how it goes
