I finally got it to work! I'm not sure how or why but after I used the CD from sapphire for my GPU I used the dvi instead of hdmi to my gpu and it detected it. I managed to reinstall the newest drivers from amd because it was finally detected and now its working perfectly.

unfortunately I don't have another computer to use this gpu with nor do I have a spare gpu to test out. I've looked in my bios settings and don't see anything about a primary display adapter.

I've downloaded the amd drivers but when i connect my hdmi to my gpu I just get black screen. It works fine for onboard hdmi but I just end up using my onboard graphics.

I recently wiped my hard drive and reinstalled a windows 7. My gpu was detected once and it worked but once I restarted my computer after installing a bunch of drivers the mobo wouldn't detect the gpu. Theres nothing in my BIOS and under my device manager it just shows standard VGA graphics...

I just put the i5 2400 back in. Didn't work. My all my fans are going super crazy though. The fan sound is extremely loud for some reason... My mouse lights up while my display and keyboard dont so I'm still not sure what's going on. EDIT: Now it's working. I'll update the bios and see how it...
