I have the same issue.. Did you find a way to solve this? If so what did you do?

I've just put a computer together and its all up and running but when I plug the the monitors vga cable into the video card vga port, the monitor stays blank. The fans on the video card are running. Everything seems the plugged in correctly. The video card im using is a Gigabyte Geforce GTX 650...
