Every time I turn on my PC, it will give me the "Reboot and select proper Boot device" error. I have to restart the computer once, twice, sometimes four times before it finally boots to Windows, but takes longer than normal, sometimes over a minute. What's also weird, is that sometimes the boot...

So after unplugging my other ssd, it would still boot to bios twice, but when it would boot to windows it did so at normal speed. As a last ditch effort I swapped the sata cables and now it boots straight to windows at normal speed. What's strange is I remember my first attempt at fixing this...

Installed the new PSU today and I am currently writing this response on the PC that used to not boot. Seems to be working fine right now so I'm thinking my old PSU was busted. I will update this thread if I run into the problem again!

It means it will not bottleneck; the CPU won't hold back the GPU and vice versa.

Shot in the dark here.. but what PSU are you using? Have you confirmed it is capable of running your system? I assume it would be, as you didn't had issues with your 1080 but I'm still curious.

I would recommend the 5500 XT as it has slightly higher performance and it pairs perfectly with your processor. As for quietness.. I don't have these cards so I could not tell you exactly how loud they are, but I'm sure good air flow in your case will keep the fans speeds relatively low. They...

Thanks for everyone's input. I don't have the opportunity to stress test anything as the computer won't even boot. I suppose the only way of knowing its the PSU is by swapping it for a quick test. I'm not sure when I'll get the opportunity to do that but I'll keep it in mind. Hesitant to ask...
