This should be quick. I have qty. 2 EVGA 1070's and i'm looking to buy an i9 to pair them with. I was considering the 9900k but I see it only supports 16 lanes. First, it really caught me by surprise that a mid-end chip would have so few lanes (i'm guessing thats due to the onboard gpu?)...
