My prebuilt desktop (Hewlett-Packard p6641f) does not boot. I've tried without ram, no beeps. Tried resetting CMOS, nothing. Tried even without the GPU, nothing. No power light up front, no nothing. It is plugged in; the PSU light is on. What could go wrong?

If a PCB started smoking, replace that PCB. Sounds like a GPU issue, is it in 100% of the way?

I was cleaning my ATI Radeon 5570 fan, and I removed the heatsink. Do I need to reapply thermal paste? The heatsink was off for 1-2 minutes.
