My brother in law had a power supply tester and the power supply failed. The -5 volt pin is out. Would one pin cause this much issues?

Okay a little bit ago I had an issue that I was able to fix with a new Hard Drive. My pc has been doing fine ever since, untill yesterday. I was just watching a youtube video and then the pc crashed blue creen and all. I tried turning the pc back on... no visual, but everything inside the case...

I realized I never returned to let everyone know this problem was solved. Got a new HDD(the one I had was still on warentee). That worked thanks for the help everyone.

Yeah hard drive seemed like the most likely situatuon. All those force shutdowns can really ruin a hard drive. Its gotten to the point where I cant even get into my computer profile. Which makes the harddrive seem even more likely. What I mean by I cant get into my profile is at the windows...

As the thread states this is all started with a very simple cleaning job. I just wanted to clean the dust out of my pc with some of that pc can air stiff. Well I did something not very smart(I realize my mistake now). I removed the heat sink to get to as much dust as possible. But like an idiot...
