    9900k vs 8700k

    1. Depends on the specific game 2. Just read the review here at Toms 3. Should be but requires a good cooler. It's indium soldered unlike the 8700K with it's cheap paste but the 8 cores also generate more heat than the 6 core 8700K.

Looking for an affordable DDR4 RAM that is affordable and is reliable.

I would get 16 GB. 8 GB is on the low side these days, more and more games already recommend 12 GB.

    Ryzen 1300x by all means.

+70 fps with 144hz monitor but feels like 30fps.

Did you try a fresh clean Windows install? Also depending on the games you play, they may be hindered a bit by the slow 2133MHz RAM speed.

    8700k or 2700x

I wouldn't say far ahead, but it is ahead. Read the review here and see the benchmarks https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/intel-coffee-lake-i7-8700k-cpu,5252.html Edit: Read this instead as the other only compares to the older Ryzen 1st gen...

    8700k or 2700x

If you can, then maybe wait for the Intel I9-9900K as that will give you the best of both. If you have to buy now, then consider that the 8700K is better for gaming but the 2 extra cores on the 2700X will benefit your streaming. Also i notice that the PSU you have is 600w, which means it's the...

    16Gb for Dual channel

Most likely yes, but there is always a chance it wont work at all. There is a reason they sell RAM in kits, to ensure they will work together.

    Gaming Laptops and GPU differences

It used to be that mobile GPU was always quite a bit slower than their desktop counterparts. But from the GTX 10xx series, the mobile GPUs are very close in performance to the desktop versions. The only real difference is that because the mobile versions doesn't have as good cooling as the...

    i7 7700k cooling issues

The 7700K IS a hot cpu. From my own experience and also from reading various posts here in the past, the following is what seems to be the normal for that CPU. 1. Idle temps should be around 10C above ambient temp. 2. Load temps should normally be around 60-70C in games and can go as high as...
