I recently bought a powerline 500 and everything else seems to work fine but it wont connect ethernet for some reason.. I have recently came from a 300mbps wireless adapter.

My router is a really old one and is affecting my online gameplay. I am currently on a 300mbps wireless adapter but i constantly have issues running some multiplayer games. I would like to upgrade my router and adapter to have better connectivity and speed but don't know where to start or what...
