Yes, but my monitor defaults to whichever output is actually giving video. If it’s running from my GPU, it’s DisplayPort. If it’s from my CPU, it’s from HDMI.

Yeah, I tried that too, but it just doesn’t give any video output. Everything else is the exact same, except my peripherals are now only flashing colors; they stay on for a few seconds, then fade off, and repeat. No DisplayPort output though.

does having an hdmi plugged into the motherboard really override the presence of a GPU? I only have it plugged in because it’ll boot into the CPU regardless if any display cables are plugged in or not.
