@smeezekitty Yes when i turn off the PSU it will make like 1 more sound before it goes silent. I think its prob the capacitors being faulty? Ive tried my spare PSU (xfx 850w) and it makes the same sound.

I would try updating your BIOS, as older boards might not have support for your new GPU with the old BIOS version. You can use your integrated graphics to install it. This is assuming you've done all the normal stuff of checking cables etc.

I'm having this same issue, sounds like the plastic on the case (antec900) crackling. this also happens when the pc is turned off, the pc runs fine for the rest.
