In my opinion the love voltage memory might be the issue (PC3L). My recommendation would be DDR3 R all the way (is cheaper as well) and not mixed like you have (U and E)

You can double check here http://www.solidworks.com/sw/support/videocardtesting.html how the graphics will do with different configs (OS, version of solidworks and so on). Even an FX4800 will work alright, but I'd recommend at least a Quadro 4000; also you got more details about productivity...
