Had this problem for a while now. When i boot up its a 50/50 whether it will boot normally or it just goes black after the bios screen resets on its own and gives me the error i have attached on (bugcheck). Event viewer would also give me this error (aoddriver) which i saw was causing problems...

an fx 6100. The cooler im trying to put the clips on I recieved along with the proccessor actually, but it lacked the clips so I used another one I had lying around. The one I had however, was a fx 4000 series stock cooler and it easilly reached 6500rpm under moderate use and peaked at 6900rpm...

Is your psu old/unreliable? Maybe its unable to power up all the usb/ethernet the ports properly? Do you have a spare ethernet cable to see if it is faulty?

I wouldn't suggest generally upgrading the bios unless there is a problem with your system. (like right now) If you are absolutely certain the bios update is what caused it, you can downgrade it the same way you upgraded it.

try putting this to as high a number as possible

so cortex has an option thatr re-opens the games or does it just do it if its on?

even if it was +20°C from what you provided I wouldn't say it's bad. Try using something like hwmonitor and see if the temps on both apps add up.

3 month old nvm ssd included with the laptop. Im guessing it is not of the best quality but is it really dying so soon?

turning off all ssd calibernation seems to have fixed the problem

Frankly, I haven't heard the best for the support, so I would be prefer for it to be my very last resort

I received a new Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15ADA05 and it keeps "freezing" seemingly at random. I can still move the cursor but If I try to do anything it lags out to the point of almost freezing for a few minutes and nothing opens. The only way out is a hard reset. Sfc scannow found no problems. tested...

I see. The current bios ver hardly supports win 10 so updating will most likely do he trick. Could that also be the cause for the ssd count going up by 2? I noticed it used to be an even number all this time, but after a recent attemptat fixing the sleep issue it become an odd number meaning...
