I figured it out! Everything was due to a Windows update, I ended up reinstalling Win 10. The 1st place I should have looked! Thanks everyone for the help!

Then it shuts down

Now, I boot up my pc & within 3min -you are about to be shut out, windows will shut down in less than a minute

So, if temp is fine in bios, what should I do to reset - reinstall my pc’s “thermostat” in bios? That’s the only place I can go, bios. Otherwise it shuts down. Btw I know it’s not a thermostat, don’t know terminology. I have set pc to default settings & still shuts down.

Thanks for the reply! Yes, I remounted the new cooler to cpu after cleaning everything thoroughly with alcohol & lenses cleaner rag, put pea size dot of Thermo paste & tighteneddown strong. In bios temp is normal

Oh, btw - I reinstalled it after the initial shutdown, thinking there’s a possibility that it was an installation error.. still shut down immediately

Actually there's no additional power source, other than what came with the factory build. I learned a tremendous amount building this streaming pc, other than the fact that my knowledge was a decade behind. Let me check & get back to you on other. Thank you so much for your time!
