    I found replacement cables in the psu box and it works now! Youre right again, the old cables that were attached to the 3080ti when it blew were the issue. Thanks!

    You might be right, I swapped to an old 650watt psu with all the cables belonging to that, and the gpu(1080) is now detected by the main pc and working fully. So yea the 3080ti gpu blew and killed the psu ports on my main 1k watt psu .

    Update: Tested an ethernet card in the top pcie slot and it works. No gpu is detected in the slot. What is going on.

    Yeah this makes sense. I read around and it seems to be very unlikely pcie ports get fried when a gpu dies. But I guess im just very unlucky in this case.

    The psu powers the pc normally without the 3080ti connected to the pcie port. Only when I connect 3080ti the pc wont even power on.
